We’ve gathered leaders from across the medical field to form the THREE Scientific Advisory Board. Its twofold mission is to improve quality of life through holistic health education and to inform the development of our world-leading, advanced delivery products. This panel of experts is integral to ensuring that THREE’s products are the optimal blend of cutting-edge science, uncompromising safety, and best-in-class efficacy and bioavailability.
Dr. Dan Gubler, Ph.D., is a Caltech-trained phytonutrient chemist, and former professor who has traveled to every continent discovering and researching bioactive compounds in plants and using them to help others. An expert on how natural molecules from plants can dramatically improve human health, Dr. Gubler has 16 patents granted or pending and has developed 70 nutritional supplements that gross $500 million in annual sales. Over the course of his career, Dr. Gubler has been recognized with the DSA Visionary Award, the Schering-Plough Science and Innovation Award, the American Cancer Society Fellowship, the Eli Lilly Fellowship, and the Best Educator Award from Brigham Young University–Hawaii. He has also been inducted into the London Speaker Bureau and has spoken at over 150 events in 40 countries to audiences as large as 60,000. In addition, Dr. Gubler is the founder and host of “Discover with Dr. Dan: The Proactive Health Podcast,” which is ranked among the top 50 nutrition podcasts in the world. He holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Colorado State University as well as a B.Sc. in biochemistry from Brigham Young University. A strong advocate for discovering and utilizing nature’s health secrets along with new compounds and novel formulations that promote health, Dr. Gubler is passionate about sharing actionable scientific information within the direct selling channel to improve individual health and transform quality of life for people around the world.
Dr. Timothy Schneider was the ninth American ophthalmic surgeon to perform LASIK and has performed over 20,000 laser vision correction procedures and cataract surgeries. A former chairman of the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Refractive Surgery Specialty Information Team, Dr. Schneider has written over 17 book chapters and articles published in peer reviewed journals and has lectured at over 25 meetings nationally and internationally. Always on the cutting edge of new technologies making cataract surgery safer and better, he is a sub-specialist in laser vision correction, cataract surgery, and glaucoma.
Dr. Schneider attended the Mayo Medical School at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at the world-renowned Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, and has received Fellowship certification by the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine.
Dr. James Baker practices internal medicine at his preventive, wellness-based practice, Platinum Health & Wellness, in NW Arkansas. He has a proactive approach to patient care, with a focus on cardiovascular health, inspired by the fact that his own family has a history of cardiovascular disease, which is still the leading cause of death in this country.
With an undergraduate degree in chemistry, Dr. Baker worked as an analytical chemist prior to attending medical school. He received the “Regents Most Outstanding Graduate” award from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine & Surgery. He’s practiced in critical care as a hospitalist and in rehab facilities and as a hospice physician, giving him an extensive background in a variety of patient care settings. He is board certified, a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists, and was part of the founding board of directors for the Arkansas College of Health Education. As a part of the clinical faculty, Dr. Baker hosts third and fourth year medical students rotating with him in his clinic, giving him the opportunity to impact future generations of physicians. He’s also spoken nationally for numerous pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Baker is married to the love of his life, Alisa, with 5 children & 4 grandchildren. A die hard Elvis fan, Dr. Baker loves travel and adventure, has earned a black belt in 2 forms of martial arts, and feels both honored and grateful to be a member of the THREE Scientific Advisory Board.
Dr. Jessica Bordon is a practicing podiatrist specializing in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of foot and ankle ailments. A member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Bordon particularly enjoys treating sports medicine injuries and has a passion for improving people’s overall health and well-being. Her desire is to be able to offer a variety of services to her patients that will help them become pain free, lose weight, feel great, and achieve optimal health. The recipient of the 2020 Award for Top Podiatrist in New Braunfels, Texas, Dr. Bordon has established a reputation in her community for her expert knowledge of the highest quality products and services in natural care and is regularly consulted by medical and health & wellness professionals.
Dr. Bordon graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M in 2000 and at the top of her class in 2006 from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Lana Louie A. Wania-Galicia is currently the Chief Medical Officer at the Arroyo Vista Advanced Pain Specialists, Inc. in Moorpark, CA., as well as a Pain Management Consultant for the Conejo Pain Medical Group located in Thousand Oaks, CA. Dr. Wania-Galicia has received numerous awards for her work and service. These include the “Excellence in Medicine and Outreach” award from the Filipino American Association of Southern California, the “Most Outstanding Filipino American in the USA” award from the Philippine Children’s Charities, and the “Most Outstanding Teacher of the Year” award from UC Davis Pain Center, which she has won twice. Her extensive research has been published in several medical journals, and her expertise has been used by a host of organizations that have had her present and lecture to other healthcare professionals around the country.
Dr. Wania-Galicia earned her Doctor of Medicine, as well as her Bachelor of Science in Biology, at the University of Santo Tomas in her native Phillipines.
Charles Greene, MD, PhD, is a board-certified otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon at Jacksonville ENT Surgery. Dr. Greene earned his Bachelor of Science in biological sciences at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). He enrolled in the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle and was admitted into the very competitive Medical Scientist Training Program working simultaneously on his MD and PhD degrees in physiology and biophysics with an emphasis in neurophysiology.
After graduating, Dr. Greene received his residency training in general surgery and otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Michigan. While there, his research led to the discovery of a novel hearing loss gene (locus), DFNA-25, and that work is published in the 2001 edition of the American Journal of Human Genetics.
Dr. Greene's combination of scientific thinking, commitment to the community, and training under the guidance of world-renowned mentors has helped him develop into an outstanding clinician. If asked what he values most about patient care, he will say it is knowing that he did his very best to meet the emotional and physical needs of every patient.
Dr. Catherine Madaffari earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida and completed her residency in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Madaffari is board certified in internal medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, having been voted by her peers in the Jacksonville area as a top doctor in her specialty the past 2 consecutive years.
Dr. Madaffari currently practices at the Mayo Clinic Florida, consulting in Internal Medicine and believes deeply in preventative health, combining complementary and alternative medicine therapies with traditional Western medicine.
In her personal time, Dr. Madaffari enjoys traveling and stays active with running, yoga, and biking.
Sastia Putri is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University. She received her B.Sc. degree in 2004 from Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia, and her M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in 2008 and 2010, respectively, from Osaka University.
Her research focuses on the application of metabolomics in food science and microbiology. Sastia has received numerous accolades for her work, including the L’Oréal Award for Women in Science in 2015 for her research on coffee metabolomics, the Osaka University Award in 2018, the Metabolomics Society President’s Award in 2020, the Saito Award in 2022 from the Society for Biotechnology Japan, and the Momofuku Ando Prize in 2024.
In addition to her academic achievements, Sastia co-founded PT. Arumia Kharisma Indonesia, which pioneers the export of high-value commodities such as tempeh and tropical fruits from Indonesia to Japan. She also established the Bright Squad community in 2023 to promote proactive wellness.
Dr. Stephen R. Sabo is currently an Attending Emergency Physician in the Emergency Department at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Suffern, NY, where he also teaches as an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine. He has spent time as reviewer for the American Board of Internal Medicine Examination, as well as Commissioner for the Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission in Bergen County, New Jersey. Dr. Sabo has also served as the Vice President and President of the Upper Saddle River Board of Health in New Jersey.
Dr. Sabo graduated in medicine at the Chicago Medical School, but also spent time studying in Lille, France, at the Faculte Libre de Medecine. His postgraduate study took him to the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York where he completed his residency in Emergency Medicine. In addition, he completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. Prior to studying medicine, Dr. Sabo earned his Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA.
Dr. Naoko Yoshimura enjoys enhancing people’s natural ability to heal through traditional and alternative medicine. A graduate of Kochi Medical School in Kochi Prefecture, on the island of Shikoku, Japan, Dr. Yoshimura served in the school’s Department of Radiology before obtaining her doctorate in medicine in 1997. She has practiced internal medicine and rehabilitation at Atago Hospital, Tonan Hospital, and Hisa Hospital, where she served as a member of the Nutrition Support Team. Since 2010, Dr. Yoshimura has been the Director at Medical Corp Shikoukai Shin-honmachi Clinic. She loves Three products and playing tennis.
